Colette Kerr

Colette qualified as a solicitor in 1992. Colette is a highly experienced litigator who has a high level of expertise in family law and commercial litigation including debt recovery and insolvency.

For many years Colette worked for a highly regarded firm in their debt recovery and insolvency department. Colette has experience in acting for multinational companies, SMEs, banks and financial institutions and professional clients.

Many of Colette’s instructions come from English solicitors or from firms based in England and in Europe. Colette is fluent in French and has a working knowledge of Spanish and Italian.

Colette is used to dealing with and meeting the expectations of senior managers and directors in large commercial organisations. She understands the impact litigation and dispute resolution has on commercial organisations and advises clients always with this in mind.

Colette has experience and has represented clients in all types of disputes including the Court of Session, the Sheriff Court and at adjudication and arbitration.
